The Farmall "M". Horrible for sleeping and only good for, (with front bucket loader attached) walking around a field ALL DAY LONG and picking rock........
Any of you that say picking rock sucked because you had to ride in an air-conditioned cab all day driving around a field with a rock picker, try walking around the field and doing the picking with your hands.

You're beginning to sound like a grumpy old man! :)
I might mention as well that it was very dangerous driving the "M" down the road in "road" gear. The steering and linkage had so much play in it that you could turn the the wheel about a full half turn before the tires would respond.
I don't remember the Allis Chalmers, must have been well before my time.
Yeah, that was gone in about 80 or 81 I'd say??
And yes, I am a grumpy old man!! :)
